In order to build both an international community of supporters and an international collection of compelling places to live, work and play in, Bubbly is developing the ‘Fav Places’ website that allows people from around the world to submit the kinds of pedestrian-oriented places they feel would inspire a higher quality of life in either their own community, or those of others. The community would rate and comment on the places they like the most, even assign categories (e.g. pedestrian-only squares, streets, third places). The most popular and most viewed places are easily filtered by the site’s visitors, using the same framework that has made YouTube such a success.
